I'll plan on bringing  fish to the convention in a large, hard-sided 
suitcase and my clothes and camera  etc. in a carry-on.  If you haven't 
noticed yet, the credit card companies no longer give you 30 days grace; the 
statement typically allows only  15-20 days to make payment, beyond which 
they charge both interest and a "processing" fee.
