Re: [Killietalk] Poly sheet bedding for Grindal worms
I had bad luck with cat food and dog food. I had good
results using flake fish food or any baby cerial. I
poured about a cup of water over my cultures every
week and drained it. It happened to be that I
collected my cultures every other day in a rotation so
the water was changed every other time I collected
worms. I had no problems until the the split with the
ex and the 2 moves. I used the 3/4 inch poly pad in
the ziplock shoe box size containers with a few holes
punched in the lid. I used a small piece of thin plexi
glass that covered roughly 1/2 the container. I always
fed the worms flake fish food to gut load them the day
before feeding them to the fish. Some of the fish food
stuck to the glass and got into the tanks if the
population was to low in the culture.
