Hi Pablo

Your unfriendly post office must take the package if it is in compliance
with DMM CO 22.3.3.  I've been shipping goldfish every weekend.  If you
follow the rules, they have to also.

It is time consuming to legally ship Zebrafish to the EU and is getting more
so every week.  Germany and the UK are the worst.

If you have them check the part of the book that lists prohibited items
listed for each country you may or may not find fish specifically listed but
where it becomes illegal is that the fish must go through a designated port
of entry that has vet inspections, health certificates etc.

Their laws are very similar to our laws and it is essentially illegal to
ship to Europe or the US for that mater via the post.

Thank you so much for the insight Monty. 

I'll check if the "cold blooded animals" section of the USPS rules make 
any distinction between domestic and international shipments. If not, 
I'll take the chance. First I'll have to find a fish friendly PO... I 
have to lie whenever I try to send fish to the continental USA. 
Curiously the same clerks don't say a word when I get a box of fish with 
LIVE FISH written all over it.
