 January MAKA Meeting

The January meeting of the Metropolitan Area Killifish Association (MAKA)
will be at the Meadowlands Environment Center, Lyndhurst NJ, on Wednesday,
January 23, 8PM. Meetings generally begin with a discussion of club
business, followed by a presentation, and an auction of fish, eggs,plants,
and dry goods. Refreshments are served. Visitors welcome. For more

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEADOWLANDS ENVIRONMENT CENTER

Via Route 3 from NYC and the NJ Turnpike:
Take Route 3 West to Route 17 South (Lyndhurst Exit). Follow the ramp around
to the traffic light. (Quality Inn will be on your left) Make a left onto
Polito Ave. Continue on Polito for about 1/2 mile. At the STOP sign, make a
left onto Valley Brook Ave. Follow this road to the end (approx 1 1/2
miles). Cross the railroad tracks and keep to the left. The Environment
Center is the first building on the left after the tracks.

Via Route 3 from Garden State Parkway:
Take Route 3 East to the 2nd Route 17S Exit (the sign will read Route 17S
Lyndhurst-Service Road...At the end of the exit ramp, there will be a
traffic lightt and the Quality Inn will be directly across the street on
your left. Go straight through the intersection onto Polito Ave. Continue on
Polito about 1/2 mile to the end. At the STOP sign, make a left onto Valley
Brook Ave. Follow this road to the end (approx 1 1/2 miles) Cross the
railroad tracks (keep to the left) Meadowlands Environment Center is the
first building on the left after the tracks.
