Pretty much any large leafy plant would work.  I know that my cichlids
devour watersprite as fast as i can grow it..... unfortunately i dont
have very many tanks without cichlids that i use to grow watersprite.
if you're really intent on growing large amounts of plants to feed
cichlids in this venture.... i would try growing them in those small
kiddie pools with shop lights over them... that will speed up the growth
process.
