Not true. We (my fellow collectors in Peru and Uruguay) have always prefaced 
our trip and justified the considerable expense with "it is the experience -- 
first, the fish brought back -- second". If we wanted the fish, it would be a 
lot cheaper and less risk to buy them at whatever price is asked.
