I wish I had been able to introduce that population of N. patrizii but,
unfortunately, all we could collect were two males. I can assure you it was
not for the want of trying. The habitat was an open and shallow roadside
pool so we were easily able to use a seine as well as hand nets. We caught
hundreds of N. jubbi but only the two males of N. patrizii. What makes it
worse is that it was a particularly attractive population.
