Re: [Killietalk] outside heater

I saw an article somewhere on an angelfish forum where a guy built his fishroom using a type of heating that works by running water through a thin pipe. Its the type thats generally laid beneath the flooring of a room. He built this tubing into his aquarium stands and used it to heat his tanks. I'll see if I can find the link. Yep.. here it is. The thread contains description & photos of him building a fishroom literally from the bottom up. Its a good read for one who's got the time, but I find it worth it and the description and method he used to heat the tanks is quite awsome. I'm not sure how it would work for a small time breeder, but I'm sure its quite efficient for someone who has a large scale operation.

Wow ... I wonder if it is like the undergravel heaters ... there must
 be a
insulation pad so that the heat loss does not go into the room (like a
 1
inch Styrofoam board).
Now you have me thinking ....
