Hi Tom, If a hobbyist has a problem with humidity and need for RO water,
the two problems can be solved with one purchase, then a dehumidifier
should be considered. It will cost you electric to run as opposed to
wasting water but then you ARE solving 2 problems, not one at a time.   
Fred    I only had the humidity problem but I still would never throw out
my condensate collections.
