Re: [Killietalk] air exchanger heat exchanger

I, too, need to find some kind of solution to help regulate the
humidity and air quality in my apartment and hopefully not affect my
already huge heating bill.

My apartment is not (currently) well insulated against temperature or
humidity fluctuations from outside, although it does seem quite good at
*retaining* humidity and heat (when hot outside) and cold (when cold
outside). I have been looking at dehumidifiers for the "fish room" (my
living room area), but I am a out of my league experience-wise with
what to consider and look for. Do I need a dehumidifier? A
heat-exchanger? One of those Bionaire Everfresh units Lee mentioned
earlier? Something else entirely?

I want to keep the humidity reasonable, and at a safe level. I would
like to, I think, be able to get some fresh air in during the cooler
and cold months as well. Would one unit do both? Are they reasonable in
cost?

Lee, have you personally used that Bionaire Everfresh you'd posted the
URL to in a previous message in this thread?
