Hi Ken, In my mind ( something like IMO ) , some shrimp nauplii, as they
are dying, are picked apart by fry grazing for food. So the fry while not
being able to consume the bbs ( any brand/size ) whole are able to rip a
leg off, etc. I have never tried to witness this but I'm almost certain
it must occur. Rosario LaCorte preaches that diets consisting mostly of
bbs give better color to growing fish. He has the experience ( time in
service) to know what he is talking about. Sincerely, Fred
