Hi Jason, I suspect the environment for the generations born in your
fishroom are different from the "formative" time of the parent fish (
this is assuming you started with a pre formed parent and not eggs). So ,
YOUR fishroom , water/diet/"bright lighting and black sand", may have
something to do with your resulting generations. Diet being the most
important of all the factors. Some ( not all) killies hatched in my
fishroom are very noticeably different from the purchased parents.
