Re: [Killietalk] Labeling

I have found the best way to label tanks without getting too costly is to go
get some standard size self-adhesive clear plastic business card holders and
stick them on the tank. You can then use a standard size business card to
write species information, any special water conditions/incubation notes,
where the fish were obtained, etc. I place the holder just below the tank
frame and also use it as a guide for filling the tank-I don't like to get
too close to the top because of all the jumping, but the killies should have
some room to jump and play! The card is protected from water by the plastic
holder, and can easily be moved from tank to tank with the fish. You can
also use both sides of the card if you lose a fish. You don't even need to
use cards if you are really cheap, just use cardboard or paper and cut it to
size-or use some business cards that you picked up and write on the back.
