[Killietalk] Tank Labeling

Hey Yall,

Just found something that is working out really well for labeling killie tanks.  

100% better than sticky notes.  

Painters tape.   NOT THE WHITE MASKING TAPE!!!

This is the purple pro grade painter's tape you see in adds on TV.  I think it is made by 3M

I think they use the same glue as stickies but not 100% certain.  feels like it.   NO RESIDUE and it is easy to remove WITHOUT pieces of tape being stuck to your tank for decades.  

One roll of this tape should last you about 3-4 years!!!!!!  

I just write on the tape with a fine point permanent marker.    I not only mark the species name but in tanks that require a little different mix of water I put this on there too.   

ie:  Cyp. veronicae   (Tap + 1/2t. NaCl and 1/2t. MgSO4 per gal. )  
      Riv. weberi PBS 02-35  Stnd Mix

stnd mix=(4:1 R.O. + 2x BWE + TFP + acid buffer 1/8tsp per 10gal)

Ehhh you get the picture.   

Great way to keep your species and locations straight.  CHEAP AND EASY!!!!!
