Re: [Killietalk] Feeding Grindalls

White bread soaked in yeast water cut into
quarters, Kitten food, several flake fish foods,
and Worm and trout chow all seem to work. I have
used Gerbers Baby cereals for ever. The basics
depend on how wet one keeps the culture, is it
free of mites and fly maggots, have there been
mold problems (they will persist) and how old
does one let the culture get before replacing it?

What works for one fish room doesn't necessarily
follow for others. Temperature, moisture, use .
. .

The scrubber pads have been great producers for
me. I have had 6 of them going at one time.
Nothing but Grindals - no mold, mites or flies.
Just need to open them give them fresh air once a
day.
Each of my full production cultures eat 8 to 10
kibbles of Purina Kitten food a day and make a
teaspoon+ of worms a day.
Take a look at my Fish page and live food cultures.
