Re: [Killietalk] Amquel
In Ohio; Sure, Amquel, dioxin, whatever...so long as it's properly disposed
of in the local water supply, no problem

Subject: [Killietalk] Amquel
A while back a note from Russ Feilzer noted that Californians are stuck with
Amquel Plus, and many of you talked about how bad the stuff is.
I was baffled because we use Amquel (old style) in the store by the gallon
in doing 99% water changes. I asked our supplier about this. He reports that
Novaqua has not submitted the formula for regular Amquel to the state of
California for certification, so it can't legally be sold there NOW. Here
(CO) its no problem to obtain it. We buy ours from Central Pet and Garden in
Sacramento. They have salesman all over the country that supply the shops.
Is regular Amquel unavailable in other states?

(Prime works just as well, probably slightly cheaper by the drop, it just
smells bad)
