Karl,
I mostly use a 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor. It's getting a bit old
now but still a great macro lens for the $600 neighbourhood. The slow
speed of the autofocus is my only complaint but optically it is
superb. There is a newer version with VR (vibration reduction) out now
which might be an improvement but I've never tried it.
