Re: [Killietalk] White water LT26 pump

Sound like the slide mechanism of the vibrator is worn; this should be
replaceable as a block. Check to Whitewater website, there should be one.

Subject: Re: [Killietalk] White water LT26 pump

Two years ago I had to choose between purchasing a used blower or a
Whitewater LT26 linear air pump. I chose the LT26 and have been happy with
it up until now. It used to drive 10 under gravel filters with air stones
under 18 inches of water plus many other filters with out air stones in ten
an twenty gallon tanks. Now it has started to chatter nosily. If I
relieve some pressure it will quit, but will only pump air through an open
line down to ten inches. It doesn't even have the pressure to drive an air
stone.

I replaced the diaphragms, but that doesn't remedy the problem. Does any
one have experience with this type of pump and know what the problem is?
