As long as you maintain the same 2 to 1 ratio of buffers, you can increase
the buffering capacity by increasing the amount of buffers.  In other words
24 grams alkaline buff er and 12 grams of acid buffer should give you the
same pH.  All the other parameters, i.e. TDS,  will change however.
