[Killietalk] Convention 2009

I know the more immediate thoughts will be about convention 2008, to be 
held in Syracuse NY. However, at the convention in Milwaukee NWK 
presented a bid for the 2009 convention to the BOT, which they accepted. 
I had a PowerPoint presentation to present to the membership but, 
because of some technical difficulties with the projector, and because 
time was short, I cut that back to the minimum.

I have converted that presentation to a little web presentation, which 
you can find by looking under Conventions on the AKA web site at 
aka.org. This will give you a good idea of some of the things we have in 
mind.

Of course we want as many as possible of you to come to our convention 
and we really want you to make a little vacation of it. Oregon in May is 
a beautiful place to visit. We will be providing ways for you to make 
that possible and still bring fish to the convention.

Please take a look at the information we've provided and ask me 
questions, if you have any.

I look forward to seeing you all in Syracuse in 2008 and then again in 
Portland 2009.
