Hi Harry and all,

As far as I know, Memorial Day weekend is the traditional (to use an 
unpopular word) time for the AKA National Convention, but is not required to 
be the chosen weekend for the convention.  It has been held on Labor Day 
weekend a couple times to my knowledge.  There are some who would prefer it 
to be otherwise from previous discussions on KillieTalk, but in UNYKA's 
opinion, for a number of reason, we prefer it on Memorial Day weekend.
