Tom & Committee,

I think it would be great if you folks could provide some time for a Beginners Committee workshop either on Friday night or Saturday to cover the few new members or potential members who might show up.  I think it's a good idea to think about the new man or woman as we do want our membership to grow, don't we?  The Beginners Committee, for which I have current oversight, can provide you with the host of the meeting, either the new Beginners Chairman or representative.  Since the workshop will likely be small, no problem on my end with you scheduling this concurrently with one of your big name circuit speakers.  With guys like Lee Harper and Curt Smith, Bill S. and others, I know the new guy won't be forgotten but let's provide a short forum for those who can carry and assure our future.

Just a quick note to let everyone know the website for the 2008 AKA National 
Convention to be held in Syracuse Memorial Day Weekend has been activated 
and there is some information already there about next year's show and 
speakers.  Obviously much more will be coming as things are finalized. 
Simply go to http://www.aka.org and look under the convention menu item on 
the main page.
