[Killietalk] Korthausae Hockey Sticks
Hi Folks,
I just recently hatched some N. Korthausae "Red" . They are about 4
days old now and I've been looking at them with a magnifier to see if they
were eating ok. They seem to be as most of them have a little pimple for a
belly. But they all seemed to be shaped like a hockey stick. At the point
behind the head just about over their belly the tail end bends down at about
a 30-40 degree angle. I've only hatched these once before about two months
ago but lost them all after about two weeks. Not sure why. But I recall
they were similarly bent.
So I was wondering if this hockey stick pose was normal for this species,
and if not, what's up wid dat? Is this characteristic of Notho's of such
tiny size?
