[Killietalk] Calling customer Service:

...and not to hijack your thread, but since you are calling "customer
service":

I got E.singa, E.sexfaciatus, E.inf. "Bidou" & "Mile 11" all laying (there
are like 20 hungry adults in the singa tank, and still fry "seem"
untouched!!!...odd)

But: E.Lamottei, E.bifaciatus & E.huberi eat like pigs, live in the same
water but nary an egg (140ppm, 72-75F)...any "particulars" appreciated (on
or offlist)

...and Earl (or anyone) How the heck to you breed those sunfish?
(evergladei), got 5 in a clean 15gal ....a Madagascar lace is growing well
in it (if that clues you in on the tank params)

...also, probably will post this on killitrader (if I get no love here),
...and Barry/Ken, it is still OK to post trade req. No?...

...some of my annual hatches are starting to back into each other...Since
it's warm enuff outdoors now, I'd like to get rid of an entire tank of
"outdoor grade" A.nigripinnis "paysandu" & "RK99", and A.Alexandri (for
anyone with a tubs, pool or pond) ... these are healthy, but the "paysandu"
are perhaps too crowded and nipped a lil ... hatched late fall 06(Nov, Dec),
kept pretty cool, so still likely a "summers worth" of laying left in
them....just not my thing to sell annuals over 3mo's old or imperfect
fish....almost any trade will be considered here (humor me)

...contact me offlist please

Subject: [Killietalk] Rivulus brunneus

Looking for suggestions on how to get eggs out of a Rivulus brunneus pair.
They are well fed (mostly live foods) solid active fish. As of now, they are

in slightly acidic water at ~73F with a mop. Tried peatmoss spilled on tank
bottom for a while, but no eggs were found there.

Under the same conditions, their neighbours (Rivulus rubripunctatus) are
pumping 5 to 10 eggs a day.

cheers,
wm_crash, the friendly hooligan
