Re: [Killietalk] Rivulus brunneus
This question coming from a guy that sends me 2 bags of peat that yielded
about 200+ fry each!!! ....I take it you are up & running m'man...
...and not to hijack your thread, but since you are calling "customer
service":
I got E.sexfaciatus, E.inf. "Bidou" & "Mile11" all laying
But: E.Lamottei, E.bifaciatus & E.huberi eat like pigs, live in the same
water but nary an egg (140ppm, 72-75F)

Subject: [Killietalk] Rivulus brunneus
Looking for suggestions on how to get eggs out of a Rivulus brunneus pair.
They are well fed (mostly live foods) solid active fish. As of now, they are
in slightly acidic water at ~73F with a mop. Tried peatmoss spilled on tank
bottom for a while, but no eggs were found there.
Under the same conditions, their neighbours (Rivulus rubripunctatus) are
pumping 5 to 10 eggs a day.
cheers,
