Re: [Killietalk] aplocheilus lineatus

I may have a girl or two, the single golden pair I have is yours if you
want...but I'm very male heavy also (so I would part with "wild" types as
pair(s) only probably)...and yeah I get 4:1 males or so, and in part because
I think they are lil nasty suckers growing up and the girls take a small
beating...

My strain does not breed true apparently, I think 1 in like 50 or 100 turns
golden...dunno what the real ratio is since this morph ratio may be peculiar
to my situation

As it were; the ones on Aquabid recently were not lineatus, but
A.panchax...I bid & won those also...unfortunately, seems the eggs did not
survive transit (or likely the recent April weather), although the sellers
packaging effort was fine....

I am corresponding with him "trade wise" now as a matter of fact, so I can
get you two in touch if you want (or locate the ended auction and use AB's
mailer) ...he seems darn cordial enough eitherway

I inherited these fish, I believe they came from a
petsmart/pet??? Seems that all the stock were
males or
at least you needed to buy the whole tank load to
get
    a couple of pairs.
Will also keep an eye on Aquabid.
If someone has either wild or the "Golden" I would
take a couple of females. But no real hurry as I'm
starting into Killies again after a long lay off
and
have to do some set ups to do first.
    Regards
    Jon Ractliffe.
