Re: [Killietalk] Rachovia Incubation

I like to look through the peat first before wetting. With a magnifying glass I look for the ring around the eye developed and then I know then that it's time to hit the water. For the pyropunctata, I usually incubate for 3 months. Folks can usually offer more help when they get the full description of the fish.

Subject: [Killietalk] Rachovia Incubation

Hello all.

  My name is Shanna.

I am an AKA member, but this is the first time (or maybe the second) I am using the forum.

I have several years with killies... 5 or 6??

Anyways... to the point: I bought 2 species of Rachovia eggs and I can't find any reliable info on incubation times. One sight I saw says 6 weeks, and another says 4 months; that's quite a difference!

If anyone could give me a basic estimate on incubation time for Rachovia species, I'd be gratefull : )
