Re: [Killietalk] Adapting show fish

Allan

How about bringing some cichlid water buffering salts.... they make
tangyanikan buffers that will help harden your water. You could always
make up a few gallons of that and put your fish into the hardened up
water rather then puttting them into soft water, some sodium bicarbonate
and those buffering salts should harden up the water and make it
alkaline so that your fish shouldnt be shocked too badly.

I know it works with livebearers, it should work with killies.... you
could always try and make some harder water and test it before putting
your fish into it in show tanks.

Just a suggestion.... hope it works.
