Re: [Killietalk] AKA site fish registry
To list both places you just need to put a check mark beside those you want
in the next F&EL and then click to send to Matt. Nothing could be easier.
Maybe the list is not up to date since nobody seems to use it. Maybe they
would if promoted better like a decent link on the AKA main page. I never
knew much about it until today so I took a few minutes and listed what I
maintained. Nothing much available right now due to age and also the weather
not being much supporting for mailing. It is unfortunate that people are
really just LAZY. Everyone wants an up to date web page but few are willing
to take a couple of minutes to help. Ya, more articles, more updates etc,
so submit one! (I'm not pointing at you, just the masses in general who are
always complaining) I keep a page for my local club and few view it even to
find out when the next meeting is. They call me! What can I say. I tried
to do bios on a local general fish club website. Took photos at some
meetings and requested some short paragraphs and if available some fishroom
photos. Even offered to rewrite and let them see if they liked it prior to
publication. Guess how far that got! Kind of surprising people don't
demand that someone come to their house to read the BNL to them. As for
current, try emailing the seller, not all that tough if you want something.
Would you not email someone in the BNL or would you just send money and a
box? They may well be out also. If enough people do email a seller and he
is always out he should, if awake, get the message he should be updating
his listings.
