Re: [Killietalk] Aquabid vs BNL - I prefer BNL

This is not unlike what the Registry already does. Just another plug for
the Registry!

A real answer to the minimal postings in the F&EL would be to allow AKA
members to DIRECTLY POST THERE! It could be done with as few as a single pr

of fish and quickly removed by the seller once sold. With the BNL as it is,

a month is a long time to offer a few pr of fish. You will either get no
buyers (cause they are more than $7 a pr) or a ton of buyers if they are
very low in price. If you get a lot of buyers, you are going to spend the
month saying "all gone" and ticking a lot of people off when you could have
just changed the post. If we are going to go modern, why not do it right!!!
I do not use Aquabid but there is the advantage in that you know when a fish

is no longer available and you do not with the BNL. This is a bigger
advantage for the seller than the buyer. Lets really get into the modern
world. I have heard it said that if we let people post we (the AKA) will
lose the ability to control the accuracy of the names of fish, but if the
seller can post and does not do a decent job, just like everything else, his

reputation will precede him after a short while.
