Re: [Killietalk] The Modern AKA
Last thing I/we want to do is rekindle that N&R rhetoric from a few mo's back...but personally I agree with Wright's comments <roughly> that whomever/whatever people parts et are swapped into place, it's likley gonna be a fiasco regardless w/o procedures, goals and processes in place to provide structure and "measurble" success/fail..blah blah blah
I dunno how/what/where the funds get spent...and only bother to a point anymore as the accounting isn't "exactly" to my liking anyway (but so)...but whatever the budget is, I almost wonder where we would be if we had all along spent one place, one pool, one fish, once per year (well we would probably would argue on the particulars and get nowhere still) <LOL>
is it possible to pick/sponsor a "existing" importer? Then contract/negotiate our demands for locations, "pure" strains/sexes, bagging, packaging, balh blah blah?
Just tossing a idea into the hat....

Wright, I have had some of the best and most prolific
specimens recently from some Commercial Imports.
Unfortunately they don't have very specific collection
information -- Nigeria, Kribi, or nothing. But. not
all of them sre that way, I agree. I also know, from
personal experience, that bringing back fish from my
own collecting trips is a difficult process. Therefore
I appreciate even more when I can get healthy
reproducing species from someone else's labors. The
selling price is worth whatever they want to charge.
