Re: [Killietalk] grated shrimp as fish food

Not to worry if you are using "Cold Water" shrimp. The mangroves only
live in the tropics. Cold water shrimp are not raised there and do not
affect them. There is another option, fresh water shrimp are raised
around the world at inland locations that do not affect the coastal
areas.

I get small coldwater shrimp for $7 per pound, while frozen brine runs
at $9
locally, but is mostly water. The downside is the chopping/processing
time,
and now, the ecological aspects of which I was unaware...
