[Killietalk] Re-use of peat

Recently an accomplished breeder in my local club complained about poor
hatches with several types of fish including Dwarf Red Gularis.  He
attirbuted it to re-using peat.  When he made up some new peat, he said his
hatches improved dramatically.  Is this the concensus, that peat shouldn't
be re-used? Any of you folks getting good hatches using used peat?
