Re: [Killietalk] brine shrimp net
Save a lot of hassle, blow the $20 and get one of these
The little nets that are sold are garbage and good only for adult brine
shrimp. Men's hankies and other cloth, even old nylons, draped over a
container get wet and don't let the air out and fill with liquid, overflow,
dive into the container when they get too much water weight and are more
hassle. (Did that for years.) These things last forever, are easily
cleaned monthly at the most with a stream of hot water and do a perfect job.
For no more cost than a nice pr of fish, you get a lifetime tool that works
great. If I could only have three things for my fishroom, this net would be
one of them along with my RO unit and my blower (or even a little air pump
to just run my brine shrimp hatcher). Let the moths out of your respective
wallets and get a real, high tech treat.
