I use a permanent coffee filter that is available at any market in
a mesh that is more than adequate. some of them have a lot of plastic
to hold it round, those are really slow to drain but they work.
The one I Found is gold colored, has not plastic around the basket
and the mesh catches all of the baby brine. The best thing is it is
exactly the right size so it fits inside a gallon jar. It is easy to
siphon the eggs through the coffee strainer into a gallon jar .
My all time favorite, but I only have two left is the smallest
sieve from the Tetra sieve set which was a set of screens fused in plastic
that was suppose to be used for selecting different size foods. The
smallest is for baby brine, I only have two left and they are close to 35
years old and still work well, again they are the exact size as a wide
mouth gallon jar which makes siphoning very easy
