[Killietalk] Daphnia and chloramine
Hi,
I have a tap water that is much less than 0.5 ppm chloramine, but slightly
over 0.1 ppm (numbers come from the test's color chart). Is there an easy
way to culture daphnia in this water? Use a dechlorinator like AmQuel (or
something similar) that also neutralises ammonia, or use a simple
dechlorinator and let the ammonia be ammonia?
The setup I plan to have is a 38G trash bin outside; no aeration; about 10
hours/day direct sun exposure.
thanks in advance,
wm_crash, the friendly hooligan
