They do look really different. Amazing the difference the light direction
can make.
An opinion: if the location is lost, IT'S LOST. I don't believe (opinion)
that we should try and guess what the location could be and then have the
fish misidentified through who knows how many subsequent generations. The
bivs are too variable to even guess the location. Call it splendoplure (or
is it volcanum?) aquarium strain from now on.
Or was this just a test???? And you really know the location?
