That's the tough part of this hobby.  You can basically only go by what you 
got them as and then only if it seems reasonable and you don't know 100% 
better that they were not identified correctly.  These crazy killies look 
different sometimes even if collected at the same location several years 
apart, maybe due to water , food or one of the parents, who knows.  If a few 
people told you the top photo was probably an XyZ-93-26, and such a 
collection was valid in the index, would you trust it enough to use that 
identity.?   I doubt you would Karl.   Some might though.  ps, bottom one 
looks a little like Muyuka Police station 89-15 on tim addis site,

(two photos there) but who knows?  Look at the difference between the two 
upper photos of the same collection.
