There are a lot of people who do not really do any breeding or rearing and 
thus don't know what it takes to raise them.  Those who do may not need the 
particular fish and don't bid. When they see a fish they want, they are 
wiling to pay more since they don't think of it as a pair of fish they think 
of it as a species addition.
