Just recently at our local auctions (Keystone Killy Group) we set a starting 
bid for pairs of killies at $4.00. Everyone seemed to think that was a good 
idea. The donor was willing to take the fish home if no one bid that much. Other 
items can start less -- like plants, food, equipment but a pair of killies is 
certainly worth more than $4.00.
