[Killietalk] White stuff

Hi all, nothing on the net tonight from killietalk.  Is our line down  or 
just silent at the present?  I have a white fungus or mold growing on  top of my 
duckweed and salvinia above the water in 3 of my 17 tanks and was  wondering 
what it might be.  It seems to kill the plant.  Does anyone  know what it might 
be?  It's not snow and we have it here in Central New  York.  Thanks, Ed
