I'm new to the AKA and have my first peat spawner (Simpsonichthys
papilliferus "Iona"). I have seen males and females go into the peat jar and
shimmy in the peat. My questions are:
How long should I leave the peat jar in the tank?
What is the procedure for removing and incubating the peat?
Time frames for storage?
Returning the peat to the original water conditions?
Any other ideas that would help be with a successful hatch!
Thanks,
Joe
