Years ago I did an article for JAKA on Eggs in 
water in a mop with constant heavy aeration in a 
drum bowl. I found one could accumulate dozens of 
eggs of several gardneri's, australe and/or 
bulanum in a single mop over a period of several 
weeks. (picking eggs again) Allow the last 
addition to mature 2 weeks then turn off the air. 
Over night they all hatch.

The yield can be nothing short of fantastic. 
Takes a dedicated air supply and no interruptions 
but it works.
