Certainly seems that way. I wonder if the RO water is too lacking in stuff. 
What stuff? I don't know but mine has some leaf extracts in it from the gutters 
and some roof contaminants, etc. I do not collect for the first half hour or 
so to let the roof and gutters get washed a bit. It measures higher 
conductivity than my RO water (about 35 ppm TDS vs. <10 ppm for RO water), I suspect it 
is something more than just the TDS.
