Hi Lee, Why wouldn't you use some of the water in the "heated and
insulated tank of water".  Unless chlorinated cold water(the feed to a
hot water heater) undergoes a deadly chemical change when heated; I can't
see the harm of using the hot water from a hot water heater. Remember we
as humans drink both of these waters. I always assumed the water from a
hot water heater became de chlorinated and pasteurized in the process of
heating. My assumptions are hardly ever "right on", however.   Sincerely,
