I think that the usual bimolecular rate kinetics which predict a doubling of 
chemical reaction rates for each 10 degree Celsius rise in temperature is 
generally applicable here. It certainly is experimentally observable. In my setup 
which uses the "waste" water for my water changing process and follows the RO 
unit with a heating process, I could, if I needed more RO water, reverse the 
sequence. However, I only use a small amount of low TDS water for a few species 
and don't really need more than I produce in the winter and in the summer I 
have more than I need. The flow through the system is not slowed by lower 
temperatures, just the flow through the semipermeable membrane.
