Bill, I think this is exactly what we need to be doing in the hobby.  You
went to a show and took some fish to support it.  Did you take 350 prs?  No,
but you don't need to.  There are many breeders who can also bring fish.
You may or may not have gotten a good price in the auction where you could
have made a little or lost a little, but either way it wouldn't likely
affect you significantly with only a few pairs invested. It also helped the
host club make a couple of bucks. (You are still out gas money by the way
:-)  ) You also sold fish in a box sale (or maybe as a pick-up item, I'm not
sure) and sell them on line where you get to name your price. Best of both
worlds.
