[Killietalk] Club Gift certificates???

OK, here's a thought. I have been getting ready to move and going through so much crap that has accumulated over the years and been passed on to us (and crap we accumulated ourselves-we are not blameless!) that it isn't even funny. To give an idea, we've had 2 garage sales over the last 3 weeks with very few "big ticket" items (items for more than $20), and hundreds (maybe thousands-not kidding) of items on "free stuff" tables, and still sold $2500 worth of this crap. Much of the stuff was given to us as gifts and was just never used, used once or twice, or was just cutesy little knick knack stuff. To the point, are there any clubs out there that offer gift certificates to their auctions or sales of club items? When my wife asks me what I want for Xmas, I'd rather say a gift certificate to the AKA (that could be used for books, convention registration, against auction purchases, etc.) than "nothing", which usually means I'll get "nothing" but it will take up some space. That!
could work for general clubs too.

Just a thought from a man who is weary from the clean out.
