[Killietalk] chocolate aus
Hi Harry;
Back in the early 1950's the australe I had were not a "dark brown" as the
chocolates of today. I now have australe Port Gentile which is like the
days of old. More color blue and some orange in the unpaired fins and blue
body sheen with orange tint toward the caudal region and red spotting on the
body with the "light chocolate, if any, overall body coloration. Are the
chocolates a real location or as I figured a backlash selective breeding of
the darkest ones to the
Gold" that seemed to show up inthe early to mid 1960's. Now the gold has
tended to go back toward the old species. Not yellow gold now, redgold,
orange, redorange and whatever, but still "bland" compared to the old fish I
knew.
Just like with cars, your first is usually a forever favorite.
