Or, as is customary, a footnote to reference articles. Certainly the 
extensive experiments done by Jim Robinson, and others, that were directed at this 
specific effect, should have been referenced. I was also surprised at the 
conclusions that FF were favored but no mention was made of the results from the 1 
fry per tank or the 66 fry together in a larger tank. The effects may be closer 
to the statistically predicted in small groups than in larger groups where 
chemical or hormonal imbalance can develop. Surely those data would be useful as 
a comparison. The other factor which bothers me is the 50% water change twice 
weekly. I would have preferred 10% water changes daily. Why? I think the 
abrupt changes skew the effects.
